Nintendo has always marched to a different drummer. While they're not without their shortcomings, given all the risks they take, at least they can admit where they fall flat. The lack of variety in Wii titles was always kind of a stinger to those players who wanted more than the standard lineup of characters in their games. Outside of Mario and company, we didn't see a lot of faces on the Wii. But Nintendo's willing to try to overcome their problems, and has announced they are discussing collaborations with third party publishers. Looks like we might see a much wider variety of games on the Wii U. Check out the E3 trailer for the console below.
