Wii be Jammin' (to Beethoven)

Paul Henry Smith is not your typical conductor, and nor does he work with a typical orchestra. His musicians are not people and his baton is a modified Wii Game Controller, which  looks awesome and almost magically controls an entire virtual orchestra capable of playing Beethoven.  For example, Paul can point the Wii at the imaginary flute section, and the "floutists" will play their piece. Same with the violins, and all of the other typical Orchestra instruments. The best part, in my opinion, is that he puts chairs complete with music-reading stands.

He refers to his orchestra as the Fauxharmonic Orchestra, which is kind of cute and kind of clever at the same time. I'm wondering if Rock Band might make a Beethoven edition to entice Wii players who might be a little more serious about their music. I mean, from what I understand, the Wii is already breaking ground in attracting new demographics: older people, females, athletes.....why not classical music enthusiasts as well? This could also be a way to attract more teens into orchestras and school bands (something that American Pie references to Band Camp probably did all too well) and actually looks simpler than some of the Rock Band parts.....
